Following its successful expansion from New York's Brooklyn Bridge Park to Boston's Rose F. Kennedy Greenway in 2013, THE FENCE continues its mission of providing unprecedented visibility and opportunities for photographers by expanding further to include a third location in Atlanta for 2014!

United Photo Industries, Photo District News (PDN), Brooklyn Bridge Park, and Flash Forward Festival are proud to welcome their newest partner Atlanta Celebrates Photography, who will be presenting the FENCE at the Atlanta BeltLine.

Each summer, THE FENCE features the work of more than 40 talented photographers from around the world to a combined audience of more than 1.5 million visitors.

All submissions are reviewed by an internationally renowned jury who are tasked with curating this monumental outdoor exhibition - creating THREE public photography installations across three major metropolitan cities!

THE FENCE at Brooklyn Bridge Park will be unveiled in June and will be on view all summer, leading up to PHOTOVILLE in September. The FENCE at the Rose F Kennedy Greenway will be unveiled at the beginning of the Flash Forward Festival in May, and the FENCE at the Atlanta BeltLine will be unveiled in July and will lead up to the Atlanta Celebrates Photography Festival in October.

For all the fun details please read on, or jump straight to the FENCE WEBSITE!

BROOKLYN BRIDGE PARK

Brooklyn Bridge Park is the home of Photoville and the birthplace of The FENCE - and will always have a special significance in our photographic heart of hearts.

Measuring 1000ft in length along the Brooklyn Bridge Park Greenway, The FENCE at BBP is where it all started!

Boston-Fence

ROSE F. KENNEDY GREENWAY

Boston feels like our second home – in 2013, together with our wonderful partners at the Flash Forward Festival, we knocked it out of the park with the introduction of a 450ft FENCE adjacent to Boston's popular North Market.

This year, in honor of the 2014 Flash Forward Festival, our Rose F. Kennedy FENCE will also include a special featured area for New England-based photographers!

AoAB

THE ATLANTA BELTLINE

It may be the newest addition to the club, but Atlanta Celebrates Photography has a long and proud history of supporting the photographic community and nurturing the appreciation of photography in Atlanta, one of America's largest cities.

We are excited to welcome them to our Photoville family and look forward to introducing the incredible work of the FENCE photographers to Atlanta through a 600ft FENCE at the Atlanta BeltLine.
