The SonomaPTI Blog for May
The May listing of EMDR journal articles is available now with a bonus five free book chapters from Marilyn Luber's forthcoming book Implementing EMDR Early Mental Health Interventions for Man-made and Natural Disasters and the video of the month, "Guidelines for clinicians in recommending EMDR for an addict in treatment" one of eight video interview segments with me from the ONE80CENTER's Steve Dansiger.
Spring in Europe
After returning from Italy and Istanbul at the end of April, I am getting ready to return to Europe in early June. This time I will be giving advanced EMDR presentations in Madrid for Practitioners (Certified Clinicians) and Supervisors (Approved Consultant), then present a two day workshop on addressing Affect Phobia and Defense Restructuring with EMDR in Madrid and then in Amsterdam. In Amsterdam I will also be giving a short talk on "The role of action systems in EMDR reprocessing and the AIP model: What we can learn from Pierre Janet, Peter J. Lang, and Jaak Panksepp."
I know I promised you an update on the European EMDR scene in May. Well, with several other deadlines facing me before I leave for Spain, it may have to wait till the end of June.
EMDR Basic training update
The Spring 2013 Basic training comes to a close May 4 and 5. The Fall 2013 training schedule is posted and registration materials are now available for download.
