Japanime Games, along with their partner, Ankama Games, is pleased to announce the Kickstarter to fund the US/English release of Krosmaster: Arena’s first board expansion: Frigost. On the heels of its successful Krosmaster: Arena campaign, which raised over $360,000, the goal of the Frigost campaign is to raise $25,000 for its English language edition.
Beyond adding an additional two arenas to the base set, Frigost will add a Player versus Environment dimension to the gameplay, continuing the Krosmaster: Arena’s reputation for being a rich and tactical style-board game.
The campaign will boast everything from a helper level, which will include codes to online MMORGP, to an all-inclusive level for people that missed the original Krosmaster: Arena Kickstarter Campaign. President of Japanime Games, Eric Price, says “I think people will be very excited about this Kickstarter, not only for the Frigost announcements, but for two other exciting offerings we will be unveiling during the campaign”
Once the Kickstarter campaign has been successful, the expected retail launch date for Frigost is estimated to be March of 2014 with an MSRP of $45.
The campaign will launch on November 15th at 4pm PST and run until December 15th.

What is Krosmaster: Arena?
Krosmaster: Arena is a Player vs Player-oriented board game that offers the craftiest tacticians among you the chance to challenge other players in heated battle. All players build their team using a pre-determined method, either a point system, draft, or at random. Utilize your team's various talents and abilities to create a powerful fighting force. Every figure has a point value attached to it to help balance things out. Only those who are able to create a strong, yet versatile, strategy will prevail!
