REMINDER! We're scanning in Red Hook, Brooklyn THIS coming Sunday!

Kentler International Drawing Space (*details below) has generously offered to host. The temporary closure of Fairway Market has had a deep impact on Red Hook businesses, so we're encouraging attendees to "make a day of it". Whether arriving by subway, bus, boat, car, bike, unicycle or flying carpet...consider lingering for a cuppa joe, brunch, lunch, a celebratory cork or even an early happy hour while waiting for our volunteer team to complete your scans.

Interested in speeding up the registration process before arriving?

▪ Please make sure that photos are separated + reasonably clean and dry. We cannot scan wet photos. (If your photos are affixed to glass or within frames, you may bring them to be assessed for potential scanning/photographing. If stuck in plastic sleeves, carefully cut them into individual units so that they will be easier to scan.)
▪ Set aside your Most Cherished (#1) plus Top 2-10 favorites. These will be placed in special adoptions albums to ensure that every families photos are noticed by our restoration volunteers, no matter how many are submitted.
▪ Count your photos.
▪ Bring a smile. Help is on the way!

(*Families may attend more than one event as long as combined event submissions do not exceed 100. Should attendance overwhelm, this number may be reduced.)
