Hello!

I am thrilled to formally announce what many of you may have heard through the grapevine - Jeff and I will be moving to Vermont as of July!

This has been a long time coming and we are BEYOND excited to be in the process of buying a house in Charlotte. Vermont has always been where my heart is so it will be so wonderful to finally call it home again.

Jeff will be working from home for his Connecticut company so we will be back here periodically but for those of you who have been thinking about scheduling portrait photos please get in touch now as my calendar is filling up quickly!

Read on below to see what I've been up to for the past month and stay tuned next month for some fun posts coming up including my trip to the Bahamas where I was second shooting a wedding.

▪ This past weekend we traveled down to the Poconos where Jeff was competing in his 2nd Tough Mudder race
▪ The weekend before I was in Vermont and got to celebrate Gray's 2nd birthday and meet a former bride and groom's two kids - so special!!
▪ When I visited Vermont back in March Fia and I spent some time together :)
▪ We spent a relaxing Easter weekend at the lake - though we were both sick :(
▪ Strider turned 6 on April 21st :)
▪ Our New Zealand adventures came to a close with Kaikoura as the final chapter - the dolphins were simply magical!
▪ On another visit to Vermont I had fun drawing pictures with Fia on a quiet morning

WEDDINGS & ENGAGEMENTS

▪ I hung out with Colin, Amanda, and their pit bull Hayley in DUMBO a few weeks ago
▪ Another pooch who stole the show.....Ori & Dave's wedding will kick off my 2012 season in a few weeks and no doubt their St. Bernard Phoebe will be there charming everyone :)
▪ My oldest friend Carter is getting married this fall in New Orleans. I went down to DC for some engagement photos in April and we had a blast.....just like we always do :)
▪ Suzanne, Garrett, and I met up in Hoboken New Jersey and spent a beautiful spring afternoon exploring!
▪ I wrote a posting on doing a first look and why I think it's such a great idea

▪ I hadn't seen these adorable girls in a few years so we had fun catching up and spending time at the playground!
▪ I photographed my friends Nellie & Erin a few weeks ago - Nellie is pregnant with their first child and it was fun to document the belly :) I just received word that their son has been born so hopefully I'll get to meet and photograph him soon!
▪ I had a fun visit with these two spunky girls when I was in Vermont a few weeks ago) were spunky and full of energy and we had fun watching their dog Charlie run circles around us :)

▪ I was up in Vermont earlier this month to photograph the Shelburne Farms Benefit - a fabulous 1920s themed spring soiree
▪ I enjoyed photographing the set-up for an event at the Wadsworth Atheneum - they are updating their PR materials and were looking for some new photos

▪ I was interviewed by Maggie from Rustic Wedding Chic and provided some advice on choosing a wedding photographer
