Zaldivar's film also was voted the "Audience's Choice" from the crowd of over 400 - a first in the history of the Optic Nerve festival. Made in collaboration with sculptor Anja Marais, from over 10,000 photos taken over a period of 1 ½ years, the film follows the life of a character born from a tree whose face is stolen by a wild dog.
