Main Street (between Water & Plymouth Streets) DUMBO

Friday September 28 - Sunday September 30, 2012

Following the popularity of last year's foto/pods deployment, and the runaway success of Photoville, United Photo Industries returns to the DUMBO Arts Festival with foto/pods 2012 - a hamlet of shipping container exhibitions, tents, outdoor projections and much much more along a strip on Main Street, DUMBO.

Committed to ensuring community participation, we invited photographers and curators to submit ideas and proposals and the response was both exhilarating and humbling. With over 100 powerful proposals to chose from, we knew we had no choice but to nearly double this year's foto/pods line-up to seven containers (from 4 last year), allowing us the necessary space to present more of these incredible projects.

Please join us in welcoming & congratulating the following artists, who will be joining this year's foto/pods line-up:

Dirk Anschutz - "Upstream Brooklyn"
Nathan Bett - "Learning to Disappear"
Douglas Ljungkvist - "Ocean Beach"
Abby Robinson - "Body Imaging"
