December and the end-of-year holidays represent a key release date for new movies, as the studios know that people will have some extra time to go to the cinema (a nice option in Europe and North America where it's also cold and dark outside).
This week, every day of the week, English Attack! celebrates the best of the December movie launches, with lessons based on films as diverse as Life of Pi (a fantasy adventure), The Hobbit (prequel to the Lord of the Rings movies) and Arbitrage (about an investment banker in crisis). We wind up the week with a clip from The Guilt Trip, starring comedy film favorite Seth Rogen.
