MEET THE SEPTEMBER RIPTA RIDER CONTEST WINNER

Meet Pam, our September RIPTA Rider of the Month! Pam lives in Providence and has been riding RIPTA for over 12 years. She credits RIPTA for rescuing her during the great floods of 2010. After Pam was pulled from her car in the Warwick Mall parking lot by the Warwick Fire Department, she waded through waste deep water seeking higher ground on Route 5. Her only way home was to find a RIPTA stop and hope that a bus would come along as the waters continued to rise. It did…and, brought Pam home safely to Providence.

Click here to view Pam’s winning video and all of the RIPTA Rider Contest video submissions. And, make sure to check back here next month to meet our September RIPTA Rider of the Month!
