USEPA Clarifies Position on Electronic CCR Delivery

A guidance memo to drinking water primacy agencies was released today that clarifies appropriate use of electronic methods to meet requirements to "mail or otherwise directly deliver" the annual consumer confidence report. The document provides a clear position on email and web-based delivery, with a framework for what is acceptable and "direct" as well as examples. As always, primacy agencies may be more restrictive than the USEPA and will likely take varied approaches to implementation of this guidance. Download the memorandum.

Community water systems are invited to attend a webinar on January 17 that explains the CCR electronic delivery framework. Click here to register.
