I think that most everyone knows by now that I'm a little obsessive about how I use my time. I worry more about wasting time than about wasting money. There are just too many things that I want to do and never enough time so I try to manage my time to get as much done as possible....and I'm not talking about chores!
A few months ago I started setting aside an hour (almost) every day to do some longarm quilting. It was brilliant because it recently got me through a particularly dreaded project. I was able to get through it an hour at a time. It also makes for a good brake in the day if I do it just before dinner.
Last week I made the decision to try to stay off the internet on Sundays except for checking email a couple of times. It's only been one week but last Sunday I had about 6 great hours playing with glass and quilting. Friday I am going to write a post on the blog about time management and I hope you will stop by and share your techniques for managing time.
I am still working through the Google Reader dilemma. I've narrowed it down to Feedly and InoReader. At the time of my last post I was leaning toward InoReader. Since then, InoReader started acting up on the tablet and I'm leaning toward Feedly again.
There's lots going on this month so let's get right to it. Starting with a new giveaway opportunity! This one is for 2 gradient fabrics. Enter at LuAnn Kessi' blog. LuAnn used the Sugar maple gradient as the border on a quilt made with her sun prints. Even if you don't enter the drawing you must check out her blog. She is constantly creating and has lots of great tutorials on her Pinterest page. The drawing closes Sunday.
