When a severe snowstorm struck Northern Alberta resulting in a 100 car pileup on the highway, Javier Salazar was stuck. En route to Calgary to shoot an event, the Edmonton Better Together co-leader found himself on the wrong side of a winter weather nightmare.

Javier decided his best option was to ask for help. He managed to get a message out to a few members of Better Together Calgary (yep... totally different city & totally different group).

In the end, five shooters responded & the event got covered by a photographer not named Javier. The highway stayed closed all night. Blown away, the client couldn't help but tell everyone about this hero moment when a whole community stepped up to save the day.

While I was there, a number of you told me you needed more hands-on help if you were going to make your vision real as a professional creative.

When you told me, all I kept saying was, "Me too!" The direction, focus and accountability from trusted coaches have been key for me my whole life.
