Dear Friends of CPR,

We'd like to take the time to update you on our Veteran Build project for Stephen Peterson. Many of you know that we ran into some roadblocks with funding. The GREAT NEWS is that we are back on track! We hope to have Stephen in his home no later than mid-June.

Stephen was chosen by Operation Finally Home to receive a mortgage-free home here in Tampa Bay. He grew up in Florida and joined the Army shortly after graduating high school. As a combat engineer he went out on a mission to deactivate pressure plates in Afghanistan, but ended up losing his right leg from an explosive device. He was sent to San Antonio, Texas were he spent nearly two years in recovery.

CPR has brought on a new administrator to push forward with the vision of building mortgage-free homes for wounded veterans along with rehabilitating foreclosed homes to provide home ownership opportunities for moderate-to-low income families who otherwise cannot afford to own a home.

Her name is Pati Morris and she'll be keeping you updated with the progress on a regular basis. She'll be calling on you for continued support with our next projects! You can also follow along on our new Facebook page and Twitter feed managed by Pati. Links below.

Contact Pati to let her know how you are willing to support one of our upcoming projects at pati.morris@cpr501c3.com - keep a lookout on the CPR website for changes and the ability to make a donation. Online donations can be made on the Facebook page as well.
