In-tuit - Taught from Within

This year of 2014 is an important one to rest, contemplate and reflect.

Last year the abundant energies were supporting us in empathy – to KNOW deeply where others are at in our relationships rather than the face value of behaviours and words.

2014 will ‘test’ us in our learning. We will experience situations that will challenge our intellect and emotions. Challenge how? To go within – to be taught from within – to gather information that bypasses the intellect or anything a book says. That is not to say we do not read and research. We gain knowledge this way. To gain wisdom, which is knowing how to apply the knowledge, comes from within.

Although it comes easily for me to sense the source of a client’s issues and to see what is hidden, most of the time just by listening and listening with inner ears my clients tell me what they already know as the blocks to their wellbeing. It is interesting to observe, when their knowing is reflected back to them, some had no idea and can resist or oppose what they said. They in-tuit-ively know but perhaps didn’t what to know because it means changing and acting on the knowing. And that is why there are symptoms of dis-ease: to in-tuit-ively give us stronger messages than the gentler ones already given. Symptoms so elegantly paint a whole picture of the connections with our attitude, beliefs and behaviours, and show the areas where there are ‘resistances’ to the challenges we experience.

The most common ‘blocking to knowing/acting’ symptoms showing up at the end of December and all of January were manifested in the reproductive areas, the skin, the senses (eyes, nose and ears).

February is about seeing the bigger picture and taking time to review our inner knowing. The areas, if blocked to going with this flow for changes, can show symptoms relating to mental function, brain, central nervous system, thyroid gland, five senses and perhaps hands.

Each person is unique in the manifestation of symptoms – but there will be a connection somehow to the functioning of these areas and the individual weaker areas of the person.

Everyone knows (nose). Blocking knowing, can show as nose afflictions. Blocking hearing and seeing what we know, in the belief that it will prevent pain, can manifest symptoms in the ears and eyes. The pain is already within. Blocking the pain will not prevent feeling the already known hurt. Blocking will manifest further symptoms of dis-ease.

We all know

The most intellectual person with very little conscious grasp of intuition, without a doubt, knows. They speak it out and very clearly. If an ‘intellectual person’ does this, imagine the benefit if less prone to being guided by logic, and we really listen to the words spoken or thought. We do hold tremendous wisdom.

When we stop resisting the thoughts because they sound ‘bad’ or ‘untrue’, and really hear, it is mind boggling how much truth and wisdom is in them. One client was listening to her thoughts: “Do not be afraid.” I noted her vitality lowered as she dismissed the hidden meanings and reacted. “Yeah yeah yeah, I know that, so will just push down the fear.” We might believe “Do not be afraid” is saying not to fear because we have been taught – outwardly, not inwardly – that fear is bad and if we feel fear we are bad.

Fear has a message for you

“Do not be afraid” is completely different to “Do not fear”. Do not be afraid is not telling us not to fear, for fear has a message for us; a message of wisdom. If you feared going down a dark alley, it is most likely to keep you safe. If you fear starting a new project, the fear might be telling you there are some blocks needing to be addressed so you can begin the project with ease. So the message is not saying not to fear.

The message “Do not be afraid” is saying “Do not BE afraid”. Do not BE the fear. There is a vast difference in being overtaken and overwhelmed when we are BEING the ‘emotion’ than observing it in a detached way as a signpost to guide us. BEING the emotion can be paralysing and then we can form a belief, “the emotion is bad”. Being connected within once again, we hear and the message frees us to mobilise our inner wisdom and take powerful action.

When not hearing from within, we often misinterpret what others are saying too. Hence the strong energies of 2013 for teaching us to really inner hear another’s words. This energy continues in 2014. The more we hear from within, the more ease and comfort we feel in all our relationships, for we understand on a deep level. There is no pain, no judgment and therefore no forgiveness, when we in-tuit-ively understand.

This year supports our tapping into the deep knowledge, wisdom and mysteries within, and we do this through moments of rest, reflection and contemplation. This year particularly supports inner knowledge/education rather than intellectual information. This year holds opportunities for many breakthroughs in all areas of our lives, e.g. finances, health and career.
