FAFSA Blitz Week
The Office of Student Financial Aid will host a series of “FAFSA Days” which will allow students the opportunity to get assistance with completing the 2014-2015 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Financial Aid is awarded on a first come, first service basis so having your FAFSA completed by our priority filing date March 15 will increase your chances of receiving the maximum amount.

The FBI is holding a seminar for Charlotte’s Web students to learn more about their agency and its purpose. They will cover three topics; violent crime, online safety and gangs. They will do presentations March 6 and 11.

Johnson C. Smith University has been selected as the featured institution on the CASE District III website for the month of March! CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education) is a professional association serving educational institutions and the advancement professionals who work on their behalf in alumni relations, communications, development, marketing and allied areas. All institutions in District III may submit a photo and short narrative to be considered for the home page which features a different institution each month. Submissions are selected based on the visual appeal of the photo and the compelling nature of the narrative.

If you currently have a fob in your possession and it does not work please turn it in to the campus police department. We are working to obtain replacement fobs. This program includes a scholarly debate on the Second Amendment with regard to gun control and gun rights, a seminar on the laws of self-defense and how these laws have been applied in recent court cases, and a practical discussion from attorneys, politicians, and political activists on the effects of certain gun regulations for their clients and communities.
