We are planning a whole weekend of DIIP up in Madison, WI the weekend of Oct 20-21! We'll be meeting with some of the Madison Knitters Guild and other fiber arts enthusiasts in Madison. Come join us! If this goes well, we may just plan some more DIIP retreats!

DIIP is a public service provided by the Fair - there are no dues, and we make nothing for DIIPin'. Join us for our first-ever DIIP Retreat!
We will be joining up with the Madison Knitter’s Guild, and other local knitting and spinning guilds in a weekend of art and FUN!
Saturday, October 20, 12pm-4pm at Sequoya Commons

We’ll be DIIP’in alfresco (if weather permits, if it looks like it will be rainy we’ll post an alternate site – check the website and email!). We’ll meet up on the library terrace, but there are coffee shops, ice cream, Italian fare and other shops nearby to explore and indulge your other senses!
Sunday, October 21, 12pm-4pm Lovely Days Gallery

Paoli, located a few miles south of Madison, is a small town of art galleries and shops! We’ll meet at the Lovely Days Gallery where we can DIIP on the terrace (weather permitting) or inside in the upstairs room. DIIPers can also explore several art galleries, cheese shop, gifts, ice cream shop and “chicken store” (for raising backyard chickens) nearby.
Those of you coming locally - feel free to join us for either day. No need to stay overnight, etc.
Those of you coming from IL or from afar in WI, please make your hotel reservations NOW! There is a game in Madison on our weekend and rooms are filling fast.
DIIPs are free to attend, and you are responsible for your own accommodations, meals, etc. if you choose to stay. We are staying at the AmericInn on Grand Canyon Blvd, where rooms are going fast. If you cannot get a room in Madison, please google hotels in Verona & Fitchburg, which are between Madison and Paoli. Hotels in Madison have raised their normal rates because of the game; you may find Verona and Fitchburg more economical as well as accessible.
