Dear Eric,
My daughter and I would like to visit the Delta facility on November 4th and are writing as requested on the facility website. Thank you for getting back to us with pre-approval.
We are most interested in following up on the disposition and availability of the horses we witnessed gathered from the Seaman Herd Area gather. We have been successful in finding adopters for PVC horses that we feature on our webpages and hope to find some adopters for Delta horses too.
Sincerely,
Denise DeLucia

Denise-
Thank you for your interest in coming to Delta. I am currently on a detail at PVC and will not be able to be there on the 4th of November. Heath Weber has been hired as the Delta Facility Manager but will be on leave during that week due to his wife having a baby. If there is another day that you would be available the following week, Heath should be available to show you the Seaman horses and any others that you might want to look at. His email is listed above and he has been cc'd with this email. He will also be the one to contact for scheduling your visit. I apologize for any inconvenience. You can also contact Lisa Reid our Public Affairs Officer and she can help facilitate your visit.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact either Heath, Lisa or myself.
Thanks
Eric

Dear Heath,
Congratulations on your new baby! With any business there is more than one worker. There must be someone else who can help us? We are looking for a horse for a friend of ours. I also want to see how the Seaman horses are. It is not often we can make it to Utah and not often I have days off school, so please ask someone else to help us on Monday? What would be a good time? I have copied my friend Monika on this email because I know she too wants to know that your facility can be visited.
Thanks for getting back to me today.

Denise and/or Robin-
I am answering your email for Heath who along with Lisa are out of town assisting with a BLM Wild Horse event in Heber, Utah this weekend and will not be able to access their email until either late tonight or tomorrow.
You are correct in stating that there is more than one worker in any business excluding those who are self employed. I also that you may only have a few days from school.
That being said, you also need to realize that our schedules on certain days do not allow us to be very flexible as you pointed out with you schedule not being flexible.
Heath will be on leave for the birth of his child and will not be available to assist. I would hope that you can understand the need for him to be with his wife and family.
Every first Monday of the month, our office has a staff meeting that requires all employees to attend unless prior approval for leave is granted. There are also meetings with our District Office that will require attendance from those individuals who would be able to give you a tour of the facility. Lisa is the District Public Affairs Officer and stated to me that she would be happy to escort you over at the facility in Delta on a day different from that Monday due to her schedule.
You can assure Ms. Courtney that the Delta Facility can be visited. We are open to the public but due to our staff size and the other obligations that we have outside the facility, we encourage the public to call ahead to make sure that we are available as stated on the website and which you did do, thank you.
I would ask that you have some consideration for the work related and personal events that are occurring on Monday and if you could possibly extend your stay until Tuesday, Lisa could probably accommodate your visit or I will be returning from PVC Wednesday and could assist you on Thursday morning. Heath might be available Thursday as well but he does have the week scheduled off for his family event.
If you have any further questions please contact me.
I know that you feel that we are not meeting your needs but there are scheduling conflicts with in any business that does not allow for the preferred outcome and we all need to recognize that as you made clear in your request.
