Meet the Farm Manager

As we started selling produce in the store a few weeks ago, we realized that to give the kind of high quality service our customers deserve, we had to offer something different.

So starting tomorrow and running Monday through Friday from noon to 3 p.m., come by and meet farm manager Alex Lapham, who'll be in the store to talk about our produce for sell and what it takes to get it from farm to store.

This week we are featuring a larger selection of produce. These are the same varieties that are sold to our restaurant clients. New to the list are Padron and Shishito Peppers, Spinach, Celery Root and Radishes.

Watch for our weekly email letting you know what produce is available to purchase at our store (1531 Healdsburg Avenue). You can email MIX Garden Produce your order ahead of time and we will have it ready to pick up – or just stop by to see what's new.

Store hours are Monday-Saturday 8-5 p.m.

Quince

A New Quince Favorite

This is a Sonoma County Farm Desserts recipe that was made with MIX Garden Quince. Angela Hunter Geiss, a former pastry chef in Los Angeles for 15 years, writes a weekly blog that describes her travels around the county looking for the perfect local ingredients for her amazing desserts. This week she has found MIX Garden.

Please send your favorite fall/winter recipes to produce@mixgarden.com and we'll share them the following week.
