News and Events

Tickets for the Frank Gardner talk at the Michael Croft Theatre are now on sale.
The event is on the 18th of June at 7pm and we expect it to sell out quite quickly, so we recommend booking sooner rather than later! This is best done directly online with the Michael Croft but there are limited numbers of tickets available if you come in to the shop.
We hope to see you there for what should be a fascinating and compelling talk by the BBC security correspondent, marking the release of the 10 year anniversary, fully updated edition of his memoir Blood and Sand.

Alan Johnson - Thursday 5th June 7pm
All Saints Church - The Crypt

We are delighted to partner with the Family Rights Group to bring Alan Johnson to Dulwich, to talk about his wonderful memoir about growing up in London, This Boy.
From postwar austerity in 1950's Notting Hill, through the early days of immigration and race riots, into the swinging Sixties, this is a book about two strong women keeping a family together against all the odds.

This event will take place in the Crypt of All Saints Church in West Dulwich (Lovelace Road SE21 8JY). Tickets £10 (£8 for concessions under 18)
(You can also purchase them in the shop, by emailing dulwichbooks@yahoo.co.uk or calling 020 8670 1920)
All proceeds from tickets will be donated to the Family Rights Group, of which Alan is a patron.
(Family Rights Group are the charity in England and Wales that advises families whose children are involved with or need children’s services because of welfare needs or concerns.)
