Have you heard of AMAs (Ask Me Anything) on Reddit? Basically, anyone with an interesting story can start a chat in which they answer questions from others. Some AMAs are not worth the time but some are useful, like Dan the college admissions officer. People really do ask anything. Given Reddit's popularity (and if you're brave enough to participate) it could provide some great exposure and be a nice source of traffic. Here are 5 steps for using an AMA to build your brand.
In the process of moving my blogging tips from BloggingWithAmy.com to AmyLynnAndrews.com, I decided to change the way comments show up. On BWA the oldest comments were listed first but I thought I'd switch that on ALA to make things feel more fresh. You can do this easily in WordPress by going to your Dashboard --> Settings --> Discussion --> Other comment settings. It's the last option. Don't forget to save your changes.
