Hello Friends,
We've had an unbelievable amount of snow in New Jersey this winter, but cold days are a great time to get cozy and enjoy a good book!

I finished The Daughter of Highland Hall, Book 2 in the Edwardian Brides Series, and sent it to my publisher. It arrives on bookshelves in October. Now I'm researching Book 3, A Refuge at Highland Hall, which will be set during World War One in England. I hope to show you the cover of The Daughter of Highland Hall soon, so stay tuned!

Downton Abbey & Debutante Court Presentations

I enjoyed researching court presentations while writing The Daughter of Highland Hall.

Dowton Abbey viewers will learn more about court presentation in the final episode of season four Sunday, February 22. Lady Rose will be presented to King George, and Cora acts as Rose's sponsor. That episode is set in 1922, ten years after The Daughter of Highland Hall, so it's a bit more relaxed, but it's still very similar to the story and fun to watch!

Would you like to learn more about court presentations and see some fun photos? Check out my blog post and my Daughter of Highland Hall Pinterest board.

Congratulations to Alysa R. from Derby, Kansas, who was the winner of my Downton Abbey Finale Viewing Party Giveaway! Be sure to sign up for my blog posts so you can take part in my next giveaway!

Here's what I've been reading:
The Headmistress of Rosemere, by Sarah Ladd: A dashing romance set in Regency England with plenty of mystery and charm.

Made to Crave, by Lysa TerKeurst: I've enjoyed reading this book and doing the online study with a group of Proverbs 31 friends. Wonderful insights and great encouragement on how to live a God-focused, healthy life.

Dear Mr. Knightly, by Katherine Reay: A touching story of a young woman coming out of foster care and making her way in the world. It's very unique and well-written, and told through letters.
