Drawing for Bullfest Party Pack!
We are calling on all JCSU students to donate $1 and
some extra change to the JCSU Annual Fund March 31-April 18.
Make your $1 donation on either Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday (April 2-4),
and be entered into a drawing to win a $15 Bullfest Party Pack. 2 Prizes are available.
Donation tables will be located on the block or outside of the cafeteria from 11 am to 2 pm, April 2-4.
Winners announced Friday afternoon.

JCSU Exit Loan Counseling Requirements
Students who are expected to graduate May 4 and are recipients of Federal Direct Loan funds during their JCSU educational career, are required by federal regulations and JCSU to complete Exit Loan Counseling upon completion of a program of study
To help students meet this requirement, Exit Loan Counseling Sessions will be held on the following dates and times:
April 2nd 2:30pm – 3:30pm The James B. Duke Memorial Library room 213
April 15th 11:00am – 2:00pm The Rotunda of the JCSU Student Union
April 16th 11:00am – 2:00pm The Rotunda of the JCSU Student Union
April 28nd 11:00am – 2:00pm The Rotunda of the JCSU Student Union

Steps for the Summer School Process
Housing Applications for summer school will be available on April 2 in the Office of Residence Life
1. If you completed a Housing Application check-in is May 18 between 9 a.m.-5 p.m. for females is Greenfield hall. Check-in for males is in Carter hall.
2. Register for classes.
3. Complete Financial Aid.
4. Business Office is the final process to complete validation.
5. Any Special Programs students must go by Residence Life to complete a housing application.

As part of the 147th Founders’ Day Celebration, the University will host its Sixth Annual “Arch of Triumph” Gala featuring the Arch of Triumph Awards Ceremony. The 2014 honorees are
Andrea L. Harris, President and Co-Founder, North Carolina Institute of Minority Economic Development (NCIMED), Thomas E. Baldwin ’71
Senior Vice President, BB&T and The Duke Endowment.
The Gala will be held on Saturday, April 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the Charlotte Convention Center Ballroom.
The University is setting aside 150 discount tickets for faculty and staff at the reduced rate of $100 per ticket for the Gala. Regular tickets to the Gala are $150 and $250. JCSU has set up a payroll deduction option for employees to deduct equal amounts from your paycheck for up to two (2) months (see form below). Tickets at this reduced rate are on a first come, first serve basis. Monthly and bi-weekly payroll deductions will begin in March. Tickets may also be purchased using a major credit card. Please keep in mind that the event is a fundraiser for the University, and each ticket purchased will include a contribution to the JCSU Fund. Please fill out the below form:
