Please Invite Everyone
Spread the word:
Yes, everyone’s invited to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the MCTC Friday, May 16, in a free event that promises to fill The House.
From 4:30-6 p.m., there’s tennis with our pros, food, beverages, music, and games for the kids. All followed by a program with a surprise speaker.
The MCTC has been the catalyst for an amazing tennis culture Midland, recognized in the Midwest and across the nation.
What began in Midland, Michigan as a conventional tennis center in 1974 grew into one of the largest facilities in the US, with 40 courts, 30 pros and nearly 3,000 members.
And a reach across the Region for our Play To Win tennis brand. Hear all about it, plus a look forward to the next 30-40 years.
When we celebrate, we celebrate together. See you May 16! |

Slamming Racquets Against The Back Curtain
Let’s say you’re frustrated with the point, score or your opponent’s habit of yelling yes when you miss.
So you slam the back curtain with your racquet Sounds like a rifle shot, doesn’t it?
But what if you slammed the curtain with your racquet and just missed a perfectly innocent member, who was walking quietly behind the curtain out of respect for your fabulous tennis?
And you missed her head by about five inches. And let’s say she was understandably very frightened.
It happened, people. So let’s say you read this item one more time. Thank you for your patience. And your cooperation. |
