Jon Mullane Receives Award/Nominations in the US

It seems that this has been the year that Jon's music has been recognized internationally - he was nominated for three Los Angeles Music Awards (for Hot AC Artist, Hot AC Album - Shine, and Hot AC Single of the Year My New American Girl )
Additionally, his song Born Beautiful, from Shine was nominated for a Hollywood Music in Media Award in the Music Genre category for best Pop song. Jon attended both awards shows in November in LA while he was on tour - see 'Shows' section.
To cap it off, Shine won an award for Rock CD/Album of the Year at The International Music and Entertainment Awards in Kentucky on November 2, 2013!

Jon's new album Shine is set for digital release though US based TS Music on 13/12/13. Shine contains 10 new songs, and also includes a bonus track, a new mix of Jon's popular single, The One That Got Away. The album features the hit single and video My New American Girl which reached #32 on the US Billboard Hot AC chart earlier this year. Anyone who purchases three or more tracks from Shine is eligible for an exclusive free download - see details HERE

Jon embarked on a US Promo tour that took him to both coasts of the US in November. His performances were extremely well received, and the tour culminated with a performance to a packed house at the iconic Viper Room on Hollywood's Sunset Strip. He'll be returning to the US in the Spring for a series of shows and performances - check the "live ' section at his WEBSITE for dates as they are posted

Videos

A new music video for Jon's upcoming single, Any Other Way will be released on Youtube on December 28/29. Produced by River Point Films, the video looks really terrific, it's shot as a short film and is the sequel to the My New American Girl video. The One That Got Away was featured on CBS' The Young & The Restless on December 2, 2013.

My New American Girl was featured on ABC's reality series The Vineyard in August.

Jon's single Christmas Time (Show The World You Care) is receiving more radio play across Canada than ever, with several new stations playing it this year. It is the #1 spinning song at CHYM FM in Kitchener, ON, getting more spins than any other major label artist on the playlist, and it also is close to the top spinner in several other stations including St. Catherines and Hamilton.
