The start of Sunday School - this Sunday

Sunday School is an important time of Christian instruction, relationship building and fun! Parents are asked to have their children and young adults participate in this important ministry. For information about classes this year, please see below.

Pre-school - Kindergarten: Mrs. Judy Stankewiz & Mrs. Naomi Morris (2nd floor, north wing)
2nd & 3rd Graders: Mrs. Ginny Leonetti (2nd flood, north wing)
5th & 6th Graders: Mr. Fred Rodgers (chapel/choir room)
7th - 9th Grades: Fr. Patterson (Rector's study)
Adult Sunday School - today Chris Morris (who, along with Naomi, spent many years as a missionary in China) will begin what he describes as: "a multi-part series looking at 14 centuries of remarkable triumphs and instructive failures in Christian missions to China. This history can inform our thinking about our approaches today to both local and global mission." This class meets in Cranmer Hall. More information.

Briefly Noted:

A mid-week Bible study is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, September 26th (9:30 am). We will meet weekly. As this is new for us at St. Marks - if you would like to attend but find that this time is not possible for you, please speak with the Rector (who wants to find the time that will work best for the most people).
If you took home felt board pieces to cut - please return these to Ginny Leonetti ASAP. Thanks!
Prayers requested - Please keep John Darrah in your prayers as he recovers from hip surgery (scheduled for this morning, Friday).
