Tell us one interesting fact about yourself.
As long as I can remember people have thought I am younger than I am, the usual guess is about 8-10 years! And no surgery or Botox!
What three words best describe you?
Determined, resilient and positive.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I run – outside, through the forest when possible. In Florida, there is just no excuse to not get outside and get some exercise.
What are you currently working on?
About a dozen different research and extension projects – some are in the planning stage - others at the writing up stage.
If you could have one superpower what would it be?
I would trade any superpower for time travel.
What's the last good book you read?
It’s an old book and I am not sure if “good” describes it, but it was somewhat interesting, and I expect that anyone who has tried to figure out relationships should read at least the first half of “Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus.” If only I had read it at 18!
What are you most passionate about?
Teaching and writing – I plan to write books when I retire.
Read more about Dr. Dahl.
