2. Lower airfares. After the high season of summer and before the rush of Christmas and New Year, take advantage of lower airfares to begin your international travels.
3. Good weather. Temperatures in Spain will be lower as we near the end of the year, but still quite pleasant. In fact, it is often more bearable than the heat of a Spanish summer! However, if you prefer somewhere a little warmer, then head to South America where summer is just beginning!
4. Less crowded. Heading overseas in the fall means you'll be missing the crowds of tourists so you'll be more able to explore and enjoy your host city and country.
5. More serious internship. We find that those who intern in the fall have some of the best internship experiences away from the 'party crowds' of the summer!
