Hi there! This week, I was moved by this story. These pictures out of Colorado make me remember how fragile life is. I was amazed as I watched & listened to this 400-second journey.

Enjoy!

1. How to make money selling your photographs

One of the most popular posts on my site is 8 Ways to Make Money Online. In that post, I linked to Michelle's post series in which she explains how to sell your photos on iStockphoto (see #5). I just saw Michelle last month and she mentioned that her husband continues to sell his images to iStockphoto (2.5 years later) and is making significantly more than he did at his old job. Might be worth a look for some of you all.

2. How to participate in a Twitter chat

The idea for Blogging with Amy was largely influenced by the questions I was getting on Twitter back in 2010. Of course, sometimes it's hard to know how to jump into Twitter. Enter Twitter chats (sometimes called Twitter parties). Twitter chats are part-organized, part-wild, always fun events that take place often. Here's a good summary of what you should know.

3. Twitter chat calendar

Speaking of Twitter chats, I created a Google calendar a while back with the days, times, hashtags and average number of participants for a smattering of social media Twitter chats. I just made that calendar public in case you'd like to check out one or many. You can find it here. Please note that I don't keep it updated so forgive me if it's not 100% accurate, but I figure it might inspire some of you to jump in. Hint: #blogchat on Sunday nights is the biggest of the bunch I'd say.

4. Free, high-quality writing and copywriting resources

Copyblogger, one of the most popular and well-respected blogs in the world, recently launched a paid-for membership portion of their site called Authority. I decided to give it a whirl and so far, I'm impressed. However, I realize not everyone wants to pay for an Authority membership, so I was glad to see they offer many of their ebooks for free with their My Copyblogger membership! All that's required is your name and email address. You can check out the list of free ebooks and sign up here.

5. How to install fonts

A few weeks ago I shared a link to a free font (see #5) you could use in your design projects. Some of you don't know how to get that font on your computer so you can use it. Here's a tutorial for both Windows and Mac. And in other news, here's how to get fancy fonts on your website.

6. How to get budget-friendly tweaks to your site

In case you missed my post this week, I told you about a tweak I made to my site via Tweaky.com. I added an accordion to my Contact page.
