MIAMI, FL., February 25, 2013--Liliana Salazar (www.LilianaSalazar.com) is excited to announce the release of her 2013 Spring Collection of ARTESANIAS By Liliana Salazar, a unique accessory line fashioned from native Colombian materials, available March 1, 2013. The initial launch is a total of 100 pieces which includes a variety of earrings, cuffs, purses, and hats made by local Colombian Artisans, and a select amount of original headpieces available in two styles, designed and hand-crafted by Liliana.
Salazar’s collection delivers creativity infused with vibrant, fresh colors like turquoise, yellow, green and fuchsia set on local Colombian resources such as dried plantains, lemons, limes, guava, orange peels and the indigenous caña flecha- a type of cane that grows in the region that is bendable without breaking.
Following the launch of ARTESANIAS By Liliana Salazar 2012 Fall Collection, and inspired by the Artisan’s trade and technique, the 2013 ARTESANIAS Spring Collection features original headpieces designed by Liliana, available in two styles: the first includes local seashells from Key West in the shape of a circle or star, and the second presents a rose shape created from organza and ribbon. Liliana has always combined natural jewelry into her fashion sketches and is thrilled to introduce her Artisan-inspired headpiece collection.
Accompanying each piece is a story. Salazar selected each piece for their unique natural beauty after visiting the artisans market and meeting the Artisans in Medellin. It is Liliana’s hope that each consumer will find their own personal meaning in each accessory, whether it’s a reminder of the past, an anchor of the present amazing moment, or a display of new beginnings.
