First world radio coproduction of radio broadcasters and listeners. Did you participate ?

World Radio Day platform (powered by URTI)

The International World Radio Day Committee, made up of the twelve main international organizations of radio broadcasting and telecommunications, organizes the events for celebrating World Radio Day of which the first edition will take place on February 13 2013.
This Committee opened the platform for all the Radio broadcasters (public, commercial, community and Web), as well as the professionals and the listeners in the whole world, to participate in World Radio Day by joining their voices to praise the oldest media and the most forward-looking.
More than 320 audio messages, produced in many languages by Radio broadcasters and listeners from 45 countries (Algeria, Australia, Bangladesh, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Burundi, Cameroon, Canada, Central Africa, Cyprus, Czech Republic, DRC, Egypt, France, Gabon, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Mali, Morocco, The Netherlands, Pakistan, Romania, Russia, Sao Tome and Principe, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia, South Korea, South Sudan, Spain, Switzerland, Tunisia, UK, Ukraine, USA, Vatican), were put on the site of the International World Radio Day Committee.
Each Radio broadcaster can celebrate World Radio Day as of now by downloading these audio messages on to broadcast them, all day long on February 13 2013, on the air, on the Web sites and the social networks.
The platform produced the first world radio coproduction, allowing thus the Radio broadcasters to consolidate their links with their listeners who contributed to this coproduction.
