Java Developer with Swing at NYC - Local to East coast
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to assist with the design, development and delivery of advanced foreign exchange trading technology. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate and innovate with a team of highly regarded financial services technology veterans to service the needs of top tier banks and hedge funds in the foreign exchange trading community.
A Day in the Life
• Development and testing of state-of-the-art foreign exchange trading user interface.
• Collaborate with team on product design and best practices.
• Assist with product delivery and on-going product support.
What You Bring to the Team
• Strong programmer experience with Java and Swing; at least 2+ year’s experience.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Bright, energetic, personable.
• Must be very reliable, organized and thorough.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience with JavaFX.
• Financial industry (especially foreign exchange) experience preferred, but not required.
• Sun Certified Java Programmer preferred, but not required.
