Behind the Curtain - Erin

Erin

Our terrific Program Coordinator, Erin Tunbridge, came all the way from Australia to join our team!
We are so pleased with her professional work ethic, personable smile, and bright red hair! We hope that you get to know Erin just a bit more by reading this interview.

What is your role at ClancyWorks?
Currently, I am the Program Coordinator for all of our Arts in Education programs. I am also assisting with administrative work for the general operations of the Company and assisting the Director with rehearsals.

How did you find ClancyWorks?
I moved to America in July, really without any work prospects, and contacted a few dance/arts companies so that I could start to weave my way into the arts industry web here. I met Adrienne Clancy and we discussed the Company's philosophy and activities and it seemed like a perfect fit for me. It all just grew from there.

What brought you to the USA?
I recently graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in Australia with a Masters in Arts Management and Production, after having simultaneously completed a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Dance. Dance in Australia is enthusiastic though quite small in the global scale, so I moved here to broaden my potential within the industry and am really pleased with the way it is looking so far.

ClancyWorks appreciates the recent support to help actualize our programs from: Alternate ROOTS, the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County, Baltimore County Commission on Arts and Sciences, Baltimore County Public Schools, BlackRock Center for the Arts, Boys & Girls Club - Silver Spring Branch, Capezio/Ballet Makers Dance Foundation Inc., Dance Place, Intelliware Systems, Inc., Maryland State Arts Council, Meet The Composer's MetLife Creative Connections Program, Montgomery County Volunteer Center, Montgomery County Collaboration Council for Children, Youth, and Families, Montgomery County Recreation Department, Primary Movers, Professional Closings Network, SB and Company, Target, Trawick Foundation, University of Maryland Baltimore County Deptartment of Dance, The William G. Baker, Jr. Memorial Fund (bakerartistawards.org), the ClancyWorks Board of Directors, and all individual donors!
