August greetings to you all.

We would normally be seeing you all at The Festival of Quilts, but this year we are attending a family wedding instead. I'm sure you will all have a great time, you know where we are, and you know that mail order never stops! Make sure to see Cas Holmes exhibit, I'm sorry that I will miss that.

Some of you may recognise the wall in this photograph. It's at the entrance to the stable yard at Urchfont Manor. You won't have seen it quite like this before, though. It's bedecked with a variety of 'blooms' from the recent dyeing course that I tutored there. Sadly it was my last visit, and also the last for many other people as it is still scheduled to be closed next month. You are invited to offer any contributions by way of photographs or text to this website, and I hope that as many of you as possible will make a tribute.

Have a happy rest of the summer, hopefully the weather will be appropriate for whatever you have planned.
