Greetings!

For me this is one of my favorite times of the year - summer weather is beautiful and I love being outside for long days but there's something comforting about being cozied up in front of the fire with the tree lit and decorations sparkling. My last orders are shipping out today and then life will quiet down considerably! I love this time of year because I have the head space to reflect on the past year and think and plan for the future - always fun for a small business owner.

We'll be here for Christmas with my Mom and Jon and it will be so lovely to celebrate our first Christmas in our new house. Right now we don't have a drop of snow and it's not looking too promising unfortunately for a white Christmas but you never know!

We've had a great December so far and I'm trying to enjoy every second of having our beautiful tree up - it feels very festive!

As my workload slows down (as it always does as Christmas draws near) I've had the opportunity to do more reading and crafting - something I don't always have the brain space for in the summer and fall!

▪ I've been reading up a storm lately - I love nothing more than being absorbed in a good book!! A few weeks ago I shared a few of my recent reads - many many more to come this winter!

I love keeping track of books that I want to read and books that I've already read via Pinterest - helps my quest to be as paper free as possible in my life!

I've also recently become a Downtown Abbey fan after hearing SO much about it from SO many people. The 3rd season premieres on January 6th so you still have time to catch up - the perfect way to spend a winter night!
