What is the Heartbleed Bug?

The underlying software that provides communication security and privacy for many websites has a bug making it vulnerable to attack. According to Heartbleed.com, "This allows attackers to eavesdrop on communications, steal data directly from the services and users and to impersonate services and users." Even worse, the bug has been around for 2 years.

Who is affected?

Potentially everyone who uses the internet, since large sites like Google and Yahoo are affected.

Is Cut2SizeMetals.com safe?

Yes! We are using an older version of the underlying software which is not affected by this bug. And just to make sure, we tested it here.

What should I do?

Each website you use should let you know if they have the problem, and if so, when they will have it fixed. Then, ideally, you should change all your passwords. Here is list of major sites that were affected, and you can focus on those first.
