Not counting some kinds of skin cancer, breast cancer in the United States is—

The most common cancer in women, no matter your race or ethnicity.
The most common cause of death from cancer among Hispanic women.
The second most common cause of death from cancer among white, black, Asian/Pacific Islander, and American Indian/Alaska Native women. (Information from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention)

Every little bit helps, (in donations). When you purchase the Limited Edition Hand Relief™, Aveda will donate $4.00 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Autumn means.....

kinetics

Well, in the Napa Valley, it means Harvest, also known as "crush". The grapes are coming in, the wine is being crafted. Along with the colors changing, comes colder weather. The temperature change can really take a toll on your skin! Dry, flaky, non-hydrated. (Keep on drinking your water). It's time to schedule some time for you, and let Sala Salon take care of your skin needs with a Personalized Facial. Let our Aveda Pro's recommend ongoing skin care with Aveda's cleansers, toners, moisturizers, and more.

Achieving "I just stepped out the salon" hair at home!

90% of my guests look in the mirror after their hair appointment and say, "I can never get my hair to look this good at home." Are you ready for

"I just stepped out of the salon hair" EVERYDAY?! This months tip is for you!

If you have straight hair start with a volumizing style product, I like Pure Abundance™ Style Prep. Rough dry your hair. Once dry use....Velcro Curlers yes Velcro Rollers!! Roll the the crown of your head in a mohawk section and the back and sides roll down. The longer you keep them in the more volume you will have. Your hair will look like you have spent hours with the blow dryer!

If you have curly or wavy hair and want to enhance your locks, simply wet your hair down in the shower, apply a curl enhancing conditioner, I like Be Curly™ Conditioner. This will bring your curl back and help your hair from looking or becoming dry! Once out of the shower, squeeze your hair dry and use your favorite Be Curly™ style products. Partially dry and your ready to go!

This month I Challenge you to have "I just stepped out of the salon" hair! Post your great hair days photo to the Sala Facebook page.

Wishing you fabulous hair days, all week long!
