Search Party‘s original composition for Wieden + Kennedy, Portland and Nike’s 2012 London Olympics ad FIND YOUR GREATNESS, debuted during the opening ceremonies on July 27. Set in cities named London around the world, the Lance Acord-directed spot asserts that athletic greatness is not just for a chosen few, but for all. #findgreatness

Fleetwood Mac Tribute Album

Search Party founder Randall Poster has produced a tribute album to legendary California rock band Fleetwood Mac that features an impressive roster of artists including the Kills, MGMT, Best Coast, the New Pornographers, Washed Out, Lykke Li, Marianne Faithfull, Sonic Youth’s Lee Renaldo and Dinosaur Jr. J. Target Goes Back to School

Three classic eighties anthems get a reworking in retailer Target’s 2012 Back to School push. In the spots SCIENCE TEACHER, ENGLISH TEACHER and MUSIC TEACHER, actors including Melanie Paxson and Ben Falcone sing cover versions of Thomas Dolby’s “She Blinded Me With Science,” The Go-Go’s “We Got The Beat” and Cameo’s “Word Up.”

Randall Poster Talks Moonrise Kingdom + Wes Anderson

In other Randall Poster news, the veteran music supervisor hit the interview circuit recently to chat about his collaboration with director Wes Anderson on the soundtrack for MOONRISE KINGDOM. Featuring the music of 20th century composer Benjamin Britten and country icon Hank Williams, the classical-heavy soundtrack was one of Poster’s most challenging and rewarding film projects to date.
