DisordR deals with a character who suffers from Hoarding Disorder, a newly defined diagnosis, to be officially published May 18, 2013, at the American Psychiatric Association Annual Meeting.

The tragic, fatal Cheverly, Maryland, fire March 31, 2013, stresses the importance of the subject matter in enlightening, yet funny, 'DisordR, The Play.' Prince George's County Fire and Rescue Chief Marc Bashoor says, "The house is what we would call a hoarding situation. Very packed with a lot of materials."
