Silver Spring Cultural Arts Center, Montgomery College - Highlight Performance at the County Executive's Awards for Excellence in the Arts and Humanities on October 22nd
ClancyWorks was invited to perform "Benchmarks" at the County Executive's Awards night on October 22nd, 2012.
ClancyWorks and Adrienne Clancy were awarded numerous awards that night in a variety of categories including performance, education, and community outreach.

The Kennedy Center - Millennium Stage on Dec 2nd

* "Giving up the Ghost" - a solo work performed by Sandra Lacy, co-choreographed by Lorraine Chapman and Sandra Lacy
* "Love Strings" - a 30 minute work by ClancyWorks Dance Company |
Three Points at Dance Place on March 9-10th
"Three Points" was an evening length concert presenting choreography from 3 accomplished choreographers - Adrienne Clancy, Bill Evans and Sandra Lacy.
Included within the concert: |
▪ Michael's Passion, a beautiful new modern work choreographed by Bill Evans and performed by the ClancyWorks Dancers and Bill Evans
▪ Three Preludes, a rhythm tap solo performance by Bill Evans
▪ Benchmarks, a newly revised set-specific work created by Clancy in collaboration with the athletically charged ClancyWorks Dancers
▪ Measuring Distance, a new work exploring relationships - created in collaboration with & performed by the Dance Place Repertory Class
▪ Out to Play, a surreal duet created & performed by Adrienne Clancy and Sandra Lacy
▪ Once Again, a poignant solo created & performed by Sandra Lacy

Baltimore Theatre Project on March 23-24th, 2013
ClancyWorks partnered with The Collective to present "Merge", a double-bill of high-quality performance at the Baltimore Theatre Project in March 2013. ClancyWorks presented a work from our Spring Season, choreographed by the legendary Bill (William) Evans. |
University of Southern Mississippi, in February and April
As part of a Guest Artist Residency, ClancyWorks performed "Love Strings" alongside choreography created by the University of Southern Mississippi Faculty. In addition, Adrienne Clancy and Natalia Pinzon staged ClancyWorks Repertory on the fantastic USM Students and ClancyWorks Company Members facilitated workshops throughout the Mississippi region assisted by USM Students. ASPIRE at the Randolph Rd Theatre on May 16th, 2013
ClancyWorks performed an excerpt from "Love Strings" and a 20-minute athletic piece,"Benchmarks", alongside performances from the ClancyWorks Students of the Excel Beyond the Bell program at :

BlackRock Center for the Arts on May 23rd, 2013
As part of an Arts in Education residency with Barnesville School, ClancyWorks performed "Benchmarks" at BlackRock Center for the Arts alongside dances created by the Company Members for the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. |
ClancyWorks also presented numerous performances in a number of community centers, senior centers and schools. Bill Evans Dance Residency
In December, ClancyWorks co-hosted a residency in which Bill Evans set a dance work on the ClancyWorks Company and taught a series of master classes at Dance Place, open to the community. The newly commissioned dance work was later performed with Evans at Three Points in March 2013.
A special thank you to the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County, CREDO, Dance Place and BlackRock Center for the Arts for their support of the master class portion of this residency.

Throughout the 2012/13 school year, we have taught over 50 programs in elementary, middle and high schools throughout the Greater DC Area (MD, DC, VA), in universities locally and nationally, and in senior centers throughout Montgomery County. This includes our after school programs, in-school residencies, choreographic commissions, arts integration programs, and SOAR senior programs.
