Marcellin College is a vibrant and progressive faith and educational community which for the past 63 years has provided thousands of boys an outstanding Catholic education in the Marist tradition. One of the enduring hallmarks of our College has been the tangible sense of connection and community enjoyed by our students both during and well beyond their time at Marcellin. Marcellin Old Collegians are drawn to each other and to their school in a myriad of formal and informal ways which is a clear sign of the health and vitality of our community.

As a College we are always reflecting on opportunities to support and enhance this significant aspect of the Marcellin College identity. To this end I am pleased to bring you some exciting news about the establishment of a Marcellin College Foundation.

Earlier this year the Marist Province and the College's Advisory Council gave their endorsement to sponsoring a feasibility study for the establishment of a Foundation.

Its primary purpose will be to enhance the connection between Old Collegians and the College and to provide financial support to the families of Marcellin College students in need as well as to families who would not otherwise have the financial means to send their son to a College like Marcellin.

The Foundation team is keen to get your thoughts about this initiative.

This is a link to a short survey which should take only a few minutes to complete. I would appreciate it if you took the time to do the survey. Your response will help us in the planning of the Foundation.

In the meantime if you'd like more information about this initiative don't hesitate to get in touch. You can contact Old Collegian, Chris Mirabella at either info@moca.asn.au or on 0419 686 555.

I look forward to your response as together we continue to build the wonderful community which is Marcellin College.

Kind regards,

Mark Murphy
