We are thrilled to announce that the new and improved Harvest Storeroom is open for business!
It is now located next door at 512 Lygon st, Brunswick East with the new opening times of Friday, Saturday & Sunday 10am - 4pm.
We are about to launch a whole new suite of prints (SO EXCITING!!) so there will be lots of new stock in the online shop next week but until then come down to Brunswick East and check it out!

In other exciting news Ghostpatrol is coming back to host a paper printing class!
You can spend a WHOLE weekend with Ghostpatrol - drawing and creating your own screen printed artworks on paper - how awesome does that sound??

Alice Oehr is an amazing young Melbourne designer with a particular interest in textiles and print.
A graphic designer by trade, she loves to swap a computer screen for a silk screen and is happiest when elbow-deep in paint!
Over the month of May Alice will be creating works on both fabric and paper and will begin a new series centred around her iconic faces. These will come together in a small exhibition opening on Saturday the 8th of May at Harvest and there will be pieces for sale throughout the month.
She will also reveal a special portrait she is doing of the Harvest Girls on the day.
Alice will be in studio and awaiting visitors on the weekends of the May 1 & 2 and May 8 & 9.

Sophie Morris is an emerging Melbourne ceramicist. During her time at Harvest she will be launching her new label Bakehouse as well as working on a collaborative jewellery line to be sold exclusively at Harvest Storeroom.
Soph will also be teaching a workshop during her stay - more details here.

From July 8, much loved Melbourne designer and colour lover Emily Green will move into Harvest and set up an exhibition/ open studio/ pop up Shop called Memphis Australia. The theme will explore Australian native flora and fauna and the zany patterning and palette of the 1980s Memphis Group.
During her time at Harvest Emily will produce a range of screen-printed artworks on paper, a screen-printed textiles as well as a collection of painted concrete lawn ornaments.
She will also be hosting an awesome Australiana workshop - book in quick as places are limited!

New Zealand based knitwear and textile designer Nikki Gabriel is coming to Harvest in August for 2 weeks, working on creating more of her chunky knitted geometric structures called Construction Knitting.
She will host workshops on the exploration of working with shapes as an open-ended exercise, so participants can be more involved in the design process of creating garments and objects - check out more workshop details here.

Some other exciting upcoming events.
The Harvest Girls will be at Finders Keepers Market in Sydney on May 31st & June 1st at the Australian Technology Park, Everleigh. We will be launching our RAD collaboration with Beattie Lanser - we can't wait!
We are also going to be hosting some workshops at Koskela in July so stay tuned for more info....

We have a BIG treat for all the Western Australians.....Lara is going to be hosting some screenprinting workshops in June presented by Remedy at Pakenham Street Art Space. More details here.
