RESUMES: October 9th

Please be reminded that our parish holds regular Church School the THIRD Saturday of every month. Our church school is a mix of catechism, children's choir, arts and crafts with plenty of time for snacks and play. It is held from 11:00am-2:00pm in the Parish House and at lease one parent is required to remain with their children. New church school year resumes OCTOBER 9th 2012.

We are pleased to welcome our Diocesan Bishop his Grace BASIL of Wichita and all Mid-America for an Arch Pastoral visit to his parish here in San Antonio. We are excited to be celebrating his first weekend visit to St Ephraim, the establishment of our new Building and Development fund, the 10th anniversary of Fr. John's Priesthood and the ordination of our Seminarian to the Sub-deaconate. All are invited to our Sunday OPEN HOUSE Texas style Bar-B-Q in honor of our beloved Bishop Basil.

Introducing a six part series called the "Your Child" Seminar, "ESSENTIALS of DISCIPLINE" series being offered at St. Ephraim on the SECOND and FORTH Wednesday evenings from 5:30-8:00pm. This family friendly event will attempt to address topics vital to 21st century parents. "Essentials of Discipline" is first in this new series that offers advice every Christian family can apply. As we view and discuss the 6 part video series parents will gain the practical understanding they need to feel confident in their ability to handle Godly Discipline in a positive way.
