Like everyone else, I can't believe this weather we're having. I can only hope that it lasts!
This winter didn't bring a whole lot of great skiing weather, like I had hoped, but you'll never hear me complain about a warm winter! I kept busy with other things. There were lots of newborns to cuddle, and a studio to renovate. I also really enjoyed teaching my first set of photography workshops. I don't think I'll have time to add any more to the schedule in the immediate future, but I am still offering private lessons, and I hope to add more classes again in the off-season.
I'm really looking forward to doing outdoor photo sessions again, and Spring is the perfect time of year for that, with the warm weather and beautiful blooms.

New for 2012!
Between the ages of 6 and 9 months, babies are learning to sit and possibly even crawl. They have discovered their feet (and how to chew on them), and are beginning to sprout teeth. They smile and laugh and are so excited to explore everything around them.
This is one of my favorite stages to photograph! I know a lot of parents are holding off for the big one-year milestone, but this is a stage that you don't want to miss. For that reason, I've introduced the Simple Session. Priced at $75 and done in under one hour, it is the perfect option for capturing those adorable one-toothed grins before they're gone!
Simple Sessions can also be used for maternity photos, and are a great option for school-aged children.

Tour the Studio
It took a lot of hard work, but it's finally done! As of March 1st, the new studio is officially open.
My studio is a 1,200 sq. foot loft, located in a renovated factory building in historic downtown Collinsville (Canton), Connecticut.
I still prefer to go outdoors for toddler and family sessions, but the studio is the perfect option for newborn, baby and maternity sessions, and a great indoor option for the colder months of the year.

Photos from a fundraiser that I did last April were featured on the cover of the March 2012 issue of Connecticut Parent magazine, as well as the front page of their online edition, Fairfield County Parent.
