Welcome.

The Leadership Circle was founded to acknowledge young patrons who have demonstrated a strong interest in the arts, philanthropy and supporting MOCA.

The Leadership Circle is tailored to be uniquely inspiring, educational and stimulating by exposing members to local luminaries with the goal to lay a foundation for cultivating future leaders and supporters of MOCA and for the arts and culture in Miami.

As all who attended discovered during our first and second season of Leadership Circle we’ve had phenomenal experiences thus far including but not limited too;

Private receptions and tours of CIFO, Girl’s Club and the Margulies Collection at the WAREhOUSE led by collector Martin Z. Margulies and followed by a talk with MOCA Collection Artist Shinique Smith and philanthropist / Lotus House Founder Constance Collins

Private home collection tours, receptions and discussions hosted by collectors/philanthropists Rosa and Carlos de la Cruz and Francie Bishop Good and David Horvitz

Private tours and special invitations to DESIGN MIAMI, ART BASEL|MIAMI BEACH, FRIEZE, ARMORY SHOW and lectures with Executive Director/Chief Curator Bonnie Clearwater

A walking tour of Overtown followed by a panel discussion / reception with MOCA Trustees and Overtown community change agents on Fisher Island hosted by Leadership Circle Committee Member/Miami Fellow Marcia Anderson and collectors/philanthropists Toni and Carl Randolph

A young collectors talk series hosted Leadership Circle Committee member Michael Margulies , Ohad Jehassi / Harvard Business School Club and dinner created by culinary performance artist Jason Hedges hosted by Leadership Circle Member Nina Johnson - Milewski of Gallery Diet

Annual MOCA Travel a la Carte art trips tailored to Leadership Circle and above members included visits to the London studio of Tracey Emin with MOCA Board of Trustees Chairperson - Dr. Kira Flanzraich followed by lunch with the artist and lecture at the Tate Modern. Membership in the Leadership Circle for Year 1 is $500 with fundraising goal of $500.

Applications are reviewed by members of the Board and the Leadership Circle Executive Committee and confirmed with a timely response.
