Additional NAWMA Meeting Locations

Last week we sent out the January edition of the Tribal Utility News email newsletter. Since that message was broadcast, additional locations for the upcoming Native American Water Masters Association meetings have been announced - and we didn't want to wait until the February email to share with those who may need to make regional travel plans.

To recap, a series of three upcoming meetings of regional NAWMA groups feature training (and certificates!) on utility management best practices, including all the fun financial stuff too! Here is the current full list of locations for the first event on February 20, 2013:
* Flagstaff, AZ
* Scottsdale, AZ
* Fresno, CA
* Valley Center, CA
* Great Falls, MT
* Santa Ana Pueblo, NM
* Fort Pierre, SD

Click here for local information and registration. Additional locations in Nevada and Oklahoma are expected to be announced soon.

In each week's newsletter, we highlight an excellent video worth watching. That video is also featured on our home page during the week. Visit our archive for past features.

This video introduces the Native American Water Masters Associations and shares first-person perspective from tribal operators who belong. Tribal Utility Governance (TUG) trainings will be delivered at NAWMA meetings this spring.
