We are now in the final stretch of the 2013 school year, and like most schools, we are analyzing this year and making plans for the next.
For me personally, the most rewarding things are: Teaching kids the Bible in a systematic way and seeing them respond to God's grace, watching reading become a normal thing with our library and reading clubs, and working with our kids Bible club "GraceKids" that reaches other kids in the barrio.
Please note At the end of the letter we explain the details of our now approved non-profit "NACE" (Nicaragua Advances in Christian Education) and how to send donations through it.

Following are some highlights of the last months:

One of our students, Ahiezer Mojica, recently won a regional reading contest for first graders. He will compete nationally in Managua in early November.

With the principal Rodíver and his parents Francisco and Marlene (our librarian)

We have shared with you all our desire to someday have a "mobile library", taking books to even more remote areas.
Through the mother of one of our students, we began to work with the teachers of the school "El Buen Maestro" in the community of San Juan. They check out 10-15 books every week or so and use them to work with the 60 kids in the school.
In late September, Barb and I, along with our librarian Marlene visited the school to observe. It was great!
We also hope to do children's Bible outreaches at these outlying sites.

Later this year we hope to begin construction of a home on the school property that will serve as a residence for us as well as a small guest home.
If you would like to help, please note "Construction" on your donation.

Walicki

A non Nicaragua missionary thought:
Ron Walicki is an old friend and a committed missionary. He's preached, built churches, and raised up leaders in Mexico for more than 27 years.
Unfortunately he lost his wife to an illness several years ago.
We ask your prayers for him and his continued work. For more information, you can contact him at Walicki email.

NicaKellys

As always, Barb and I appreciate everyone's encouragement, prayers, and support.
We are now receiving donations through our new organization "NACE", and you will receive tax receipts from them. Zoya will continue to handle donations for us for the next several months.

Checks can be mailed to:
    NACE
    2213 Fleming Dr
    McKinney, TX 75070

You can specify one of the following:
"Nicaragua General Support" - goes to missionary
  support and school expenses.
"Sponsor a Teacher" for those sponsoring a   teacher.
"Construction" - for the building costs of the new   library/classroom and guest home.

We have most of our teachers sponsored, but we need to hire a night watchman. This would cost around $280 a month, which includes salary and all the benefits mandated by Nicaraguan law. Let us know if you are interested in this.

NACE is also set up for automatic bank drafts and credit card payments. if you are interested in this option, please contact the Sarah Dahl at naceemail.
Our website is being developed. You can check it out at website, and we will try to keep updates on our blog
Or follow us on twitter (@bobkelly52) or see link at end of this letter.

We will be in the US over Christmas (our summer vacation). If you are interested in visiting with us or having us speak to your church or missions group, please let us know.

May God bless you richly.

Bob & Barbara Kelly
