Practice Docs named to Favorite Kids' Docs List

The doctors of Chestnut Ridge Pediatric are honored to be named to the list of NJ's Favorite Kids' Docs for 2013.

The annual list is published in NJ Family Magazine. We thank the many families who took the time to vote for us. It is truly an honor to care for our patients.

Get Smart About Antibiotics

With cough and cold season upon us, Chestnut Ridge Pediatrics supports the Centers for Disease Control in its efforts to educate everyone about proper use of antibiotics. Colds, most coughs, the flu, and most sore throats are caused by viruses, and antibiotics do not help fight viruses. Using antibiotics unnecessarily puts you at risk for side effects and allergic reactions. In addition, taking antibiotics when they are not needed increases your risk of getting an infection later that resists antibiotic treatment.

Holiday Hours

Chestnut Ridge Pediatrics will be closing early on Tuesday 12/24 and will be closed Wednesday 12/25 for the Christmas holiday.

We will close early on New Year's Eve, and the office will be closed New Year's Day.

As always, if you have a medical emergency and need to reach the on-call doctor, please call our answering service at 201-234-4721.

Three Generations - One Practice!

For over 40 years, Chestnut Ridge Pediatrics has served the families of Bergen and Rockland counties. The practice was founded in Park Ridge in the late 1960's and moved to Woodcliff Lake in 1970. Many of our staff have been with the practice for over 30 years.

We are fortunate to now have many third-generation patients, and that number continues to grow. The Piatt family is one example - all three generations cared for by Chestnut Ridge Pediatrics.
