In the midst of the flurry of holiday events, I want to specially invite you to an evening of shopping handmade gifts from four very talented East Bay artists. In addition to bringing you local art, we will also be serving up exquisite elixirs and spinning fresh tunes. Delicious food (hot and to gift) will also be available from Apothocurious! Kacie creates monotypes, which are one-of-a-kind prints on paper. Her portfolio is full of colorful, figurative work from recent gallery shows. Imagery and shapes drawn from life are stenciled and painted in layers, in attempts to depict physical sensations of emotions and places.

Maple June Molina has been sewing since her talented mother taught her how. She loves creating things and expressing herself through fashion. Almost all of the fabric she uses is in a sense, "recycled" fabric. Some are even scraps that she salvaged from numerous projects. Even still, some pieces are the result of experimental play that have become some of her favorites.
