It sure is a lot of fun having the ability to look back at what God has been doing and see how pieces then are now shaping the future. Back in 2000, little did I know that while enjoying a mission trip outside Johannesburg, South Africa, God would spark something in my heart that would lead me to living in Europe with a heart for intentionally making my life available to invest into the youth of Europe.

In Convoy of Hope Europe, we have a program called Adopt-A-Community. The Adopt-a-Community program fosters a relationship between churches & organizations and specific impoverished communities across Europe to effect long-term change over an allotted period of time so as to facilitate sustainable growth and improvement on physical, social and spiritual levels.

It has been two months of achieving some major milestones for both of the boys.

Our family is not very good at sharing practical needs. It´s a very humbling experience walking through missions with your whole support coming from family, friends and churches. There is a desire in me (Nolan) that always wants to be able to provide for my family and sometimes asking for things is NOT the easiest thing to do.

With that being said, we wanted to try and find a creative way to share some of the practical things we either need or are looking to get for our family.
