HI dear!

I'm glad to share with you something about a very hot and current topic, RADIATION.

According to some sources, Fukushima's radioactive emission concentrations harmful to humans quickly drop below World Health Organizations safety levels as soon as they leave Japanese waters. Other sources state the downplaying of the significance of this nuclear disaster and lack of factual information about what is really happening.

We are constantly bombarded with so much information and unfortunately not all of it is totally accurate which can cause some collective paranoia and confusion.

The most important thing to me, is to see what practical steps can be taken as we all have to dwell in this amazing planet Gaia.

Radiation in my basement?

Yes! Every day and all over the world we are exposed to radiation. Ionizing radiation effects ranging from cell damage to more serious conditions like cancer and death are directly proportional to the amount of exposure.

The background ionizing radiation comes mostly from a radioactive gas called Radon. This gas emanates from the ground, is in the air we breathe and tends to collect in places like the basement as it's heavier than air.

Cosmic transatlantic flights. Cosmic radiation comes from outer space and is deflected by the earth's electromagnetic field. The intensity of in-flight radiation is a function of altitude, latitude and time.

There's also a bit of radiation in the food, water, cigarettes and building materials.

What about mammograms and airport scanners?

Could not help using this banned ad...

The effective dose of a mammogram corresponds to approximately 3 months of natural environmental radiation or one transatlantic flight. Full-body scanners deliver a radiation dose equivalent to what a standard man receives every 1.8 minutes on the ground, or every 12 seconds during an airplane flight.

So, in reality, airport screenings (unless you are a very frequent traveler) do not make a material difference. As per a mammogram or a life saving test, please consider the benefits when making a decision.

Radiation symptoms

When the cells are exposed to low levels of radiation there's a production of free radicals and some cellular changes that in general, the body can repair itself without visible physical symptoms.

High levels of radiation, like after a nuclear bomb or accident, depend on the duration and dose of exposure and present various physical symptoms.

Please be aware that these tips help with low levels of radiation, an exposure of high levels of radiation requires immediate medical attention.

What can you do to protect yourself?

Reduce your exposure to computers, cell phones, phone towers, televisions, microwave ovens, power lines, cigarettes, etc.

Increase shielding /Strong electromagnetic (EMF) field:

Untitled design
Maintain a healthy diet
Meditate. Yes, meditation not only strengthens your EMF but also decreases your body's oxidative stress and increases your melatonin levels.
Wear a Harmony Pendant
Carry stones like lapis lazuli and malachite.
Use a metallic bracelet (copper is especially good).
Use Orgonite. When orgonite is within range of a source of negative energy, it will efficiently and continuously transform it into positive energy.

Protective foods and supplements

You can boost the restorative capacities of your cells with a diet rich in antioxidants, and maintaining optimal levels of Calcium, Magnesium, vitamin A, C, E and K.

Chlorella and spirulina are loaded with vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that help detoxify the body of heavy metals and other contaminants. Chlorella a single-cell algae also helps to prevent and repair DNA damage, balance the body's pH levels, fight inflammation, improve digestive health, and boost immune function.

Fermented vegetables and juices (sauerkraut, beets, carrots, green and red pepper)
Cultured and fermented milk products (yogurt, kefir, buttermilk, unprocessed cheese). "Be careful with milk consumption as it has radioactive iodine"
Cruciferous vegetables (cabbage, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, turnips, cabbage, spinach, cauliflower, and greens such as kale)
